Bluegrass Performance

This Thursday-Sunday a local park is having several gospel concerts, beginning with open stage Thursday night for anyone wanting to participate. Bill, Greg, and three girls from our church decided to do a few bluegrass songs... they did great - they were supposed to do only 3 selections but at the end the sponsor requested another song. They were the only group asked to play/sing more!! Isn't that great? In fact, there was a local recording studio there that wanted to have them record. He stated he'd get them in 'immediately' (others wait 3-4 months, he said). Wow! Not sure they're ready for that but it's fun to think about. They were also requested to come back next year as one of the main groups for the whole weekend. The sponsor said "you don't need to be playing on open stage night".
